I purchased 2k Video Doorbell. It says it needs 16-24VAC, 30VA.
My existing transformer outputs 16.5V, 37VA (according to the sticker on it).
I don’t understand.
Do I need a transformer that supports both 16V and 24V? Or any transformer within 16-24V will work?
Secondly, with Eufy’s specs, it’s 30VA/16V = 1.875A or 30VA/24V = 1.25A of current. My transformer does 37VA/16.5V = 2.24A of current. Is that going to damage the doorbell?

I can read the technical language you wrote. 16-24VAC means between 16 and 24, so your 16.5 is between 16 and 24 so should be ok.
The current numbers look fine also, you need to deliver at least 1.8A, you can deliver 2.24 so more than 1.8A so that’s fine.
Damage would occur if you exceeded the voltage. You’re not. So I’d say you’re fine.
But I’d also say wait for others to reply before doing anything. I’m only sending “looks ok by me” feedback.
