Add sausages, fried bred, black pudding, ditch the beans. Each of these photos taken in England.

Do you eat this black pudding in Scotland?

Factoring in a few pages before sleep can always assist with the sleeping

Now I’m hungry…though I do skip the black pudding, not really into eating scabs

Probably not, doesn’t look like he has friends or family that care for him… if he did he probably wouldn’t have needed to create the make fantasy world for himself…

I just finished episode 5 season 4… looks like something Anker would make in the future lol.

What’s that? I have’t got to watch it yet :joy:

Happy New year everyone!
My first day started around 10:00am, had some breakfast , redone ZaZu’s cage with some of her new toys (she has Christmas too!)

Then started watching Peaky Blinders on Netflix with a lovely cuppa tea. In the afternoon we went for a little walk around one of our local parks :

Went home and cooked some amazing burgers for an early dinner, also was “good” and put lactose free cheese on mine. I’m now realising I am rather lactose intolerant, however I love cheese :frowning: I need to focus on not eating this year.
The rest of the evening was spent chilling out. Was a rather good New Years day!

Black pudding is technically a northern English “thing”. But it is more commonly served in Scotland - because it is absolutely fantastic :smile_cat:

Full Scottish breakfast is different to a full English breakfast.
Scottish: (not my photo)

In picture: Eggs, Sausage, Tomatoes, bacon, mushroom, haggis, black pudding, square sausage (also called lorne or steak slice) and Potato Scone/Tattie scone. Also can be served with fruit pudding, beans etc. Not normally served with whatever that random green stuff is on the plate…:smirk:

English breakfast normally does not have square sausage, black pudding, haggis or fruit pudding. But instead will have hash browns.

Thank you! She even act’s cute occasionally:smile_cat:

A proper FULL ENGLISH

BACON, FRIED EGG OR SCRAMBLED, SAUSAGES, BEANS N TOMATOES, FRIED BREAD, BLACK PUDDING, TOAST AND A REALLY STRONG MUG TEA.

Some put hash browns or chips on it too, but that’s not the traditional version, it’s a fairly modern addition.

Square sausage is definitely a Scottish thing instead of normal sausages, but I hadn’t heard of haggis for breakfast… Oh BTW, have you looked up the origins of hagiss… It’s not Scottish.

Made the news a few times, so perhaps Anker merchandise including apparel will be available at some time in the future perhaps?

Thanks to your recommendation of Black Mirror I Netflix downloaded into my tablet all 4 series, I got a lot of travel next 6 weeks and will be watching til end-Feb. I have 9 flights, 9 beds, 9 trains all causing time to watch stuff offline. Anker Soundbuds in my ear and a Powercore to keep tablet going and Powerport to recharge.

So no hints now!

Beans are evil.

Everything else is good.

I guess I lack the DNA Genes to find beans a “food”.

Brussel Sprouts are evil too? Agree / Disagree?

They are in England, I like them, tend to get in Morrisons, Aldi. I tend to begin cooking with them in a pan, then the fat off them I cook mushrooms in. It’s one of the type of items which needs to be better quality to able to be eaten. Don’t do in the toaster when there’s a smoke alarm.

My annual supply of Brown Sauce was delivered recently. You really need the Brown Sauce on that bacon. One sausage??? Try 5.

That cage you made was really nice!
I first ate the black pudding in Scotland, at that time thought it was some kind of dessert!:joy::joy:

Agreed. Cooked slow so the rind is crispy. Crunchy no pulling with your teeth.

Agreed. Either.

Agreed.

Nope. These to be on the side, or better removed. Evil

Agreed.

Best tea is when you make it night before and microwave it up. Try it. It’s like reheated Curry, better than you’d expect.

Something of a newer addition but good

Why?

It is very good, or can be. Needs a good quality. It can be better than sausage.

I tried Haggis. Not horrible, but … it’s a once a year thing vs all the above an every day thing.

Glad to be helpful
