They should make headphones and ear buds they have speakers already
What Item do you wish Anker would make?
How about cases and other device-specific accessories for non-Apple and non-Samsung models? Samsung and Apple are not the only phone manufacturers.
How about a really large, really (really) powerful speaker, maybe waterproof too. Something suitable for outdoor parties that has real bass response and plays loud and clean.
Magnetic charging cable. Iāve seen them around the internet but Iāve been afraid of buying them. I know if Anker made them they would be amazing!! Please Anker!! You make I buy!!
ANKER please make original carry cases for powerbank as I was looking to buy but unfortunately you donāt do that as I love the brand I would like to have a case always with me too.
This may be too old since the s7 is out but a s6 edge plus battery case would be absolutely fantastic in my opinion.
Apple Watch battery pack
Travel Wifi router
As a keen photographer it would be good if Anker made something that would charge camera batteries, while people are out and about. Either a PowerCore, or something that could be used with a PowerDrive. I realise that with the number of different batteries used by cameras it wouldnāt be easy, but Iām sure you could come up with something
You mean an Anker version of this?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SV15NLQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is USB input.
It can recharge "Apply to:10440/14500/14650/16340/17500/17670/18350/18500/18650/18700/22650/25500/26650 3.6/3.7V Li-ion batteries "
I have this and I used to recharge 18650B for the Anker LC40.
No, something to charge DSLR batteries. Particularly in my case for the Canon EOS range of cameras, but also for Nikon and other DSLR makes. As I said Iām not sure if it is possible to make something that will charge all the different varieties of battery, but if it is Iām sure Anker could do it.
Why not carry just another DSLR battery? That would likely be smaller.
Iāve got 4 but sometimes on a shoot it would be useful to have one charging in the car
So there a few different ways Anker could solve for that.
Your proprietary closed-standard battery recharging problem is similar to laptop charging problems in that either the proprietary charger has its own PSU built-in (so you plug mains cord into your charger) or an external PSU (so you plug an external brick output into your device). If the former then youāre stuck with needing an inverter to do DC-AC 110V/240V with all the power losses of step-up then step-down. If youāre luckier and it has an external PSU then you could do something like a variable DC output and a display where you set the output Voltage. As you dial up Voltage, the max current drops obviously for the given Wattage of the batteries. Then its a DC-DC boost which is more efficient, you then donāt need to carry the external PSU (AC-DC).
What that then does is shift from needing to design for every niche like DSLR chargers into just a plug shape, supply a wide range of size/connectors which is just a 10-20 small cheap shapes. Then you can buy one product and use it for many niches like laptops also.
But the discussion is āWhat Item do you wish Anker would make?ā I would like them to make chargers for DSLR batteries that I can use in the car. I can already buy them online for under Ā£10 , but I wouldnāt trust it to work with Ā£65 batteries. If Anker made it, I would trust it. So I am answering the question they have asked
I would love them to make a revised powerhouse with the new square cells and more wattage and more outlets
I would love for anker to include a rapid charge USB C port on their 2 port wall charger, hate having to walk with my nexus USB C charger and anker 2 port to charge my power bank and soundcore mini.
So a 3 port, 1 USB-C and 2 USB Type-A?
Same 24W or higher?
USB-C is both the shape of the socket for plain easier, but also supporting more Wattage per port which then beckons do you make the Powerport physically larger for the higher Wattage or do you just keep small and its just the port shape benefit?
Yes 1 USB C and 2 type Aā¦at this point id even take a 1 USB C and 1 type A. I assume it can be made as they are other brands that have them available both the 3 port and 2 port versions with similar or slightly larger size than the anker 2 port but i have had good luck with anker so far and would much rather stick with the brand.
I would post a link to show but i dont know if thats allowed.
