In my opinion, yes, because you can buy coupons/products with them (in the US). Meanwhile, Power Bucks just get you tickets into giveaways.

Really sticking my neck out here guys but Iā€™m either confused, stupid or more likely both :crazy_face:

So you join The Soundcore Collective.
Your points total transfer from the Anker Community.
Why?
Do we continue to collect points on the Anker site after the initial transfer?
If so do they transfer over to Soundcore too?
Do we now only collect points on Soundcore?
Do we collect points on both sites?
Why have Bucks on Anker and points on Soundcore?

I donā€™t really get splitting the ā€œcommunitiesā€, Im interested in posts on most products and scroll past the posts Iā€™m not.
I donā€™t want to bounce between 2 sites - I donā€™t like change :joy:

So if you join the soundcore community now, you will start at level 1, and you will gain points like normal.

The points you get at registration will be double the normal amount.

In addition, in the beginning of October, an equivalent amount of points will be transferred from the anker community, over to the soundcore community. This wonā€™t be a 1:1 transfer, as soundcore points are more rare.

Still havenā€™t signed my life away, still not sure if I see the point.
I think the current format is fine, one manufacturer, one community with multiple conversations.
Donā€™t think I really want to be regularly visiting 2 sites.
Itā€™s a bit like having to sit at different tables at the pub depending on what topic you want to talk about!

I agree.
For me a lot of leisure time I have it is easy to switch.

But the majority has to do their jobs,
not so much time ā€œtrampingā€ from one forum to the other.

All of the Points/Notes youā€™ve earned will not be doubled. As I explained on the Soundcore Community, only your registration Points/Notes will be doubled. - Lawrence
