Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

This is a good idea to escape.
But even you know the fellows : “trust is good control is better”
And there are always things have to be discussed while they are at work.
We will install a shower instead of the old bath tube,
But not a a cabin, more modern

Something like that (That type of shower)
Easy to enter for rickety pensioners.

But not such ugly tiles of course.

Will take photo when ready.
Will take a while as there is no hurry.

Great bathroom @professor are you the one washing or being washed

I keep forgetting to look here, this thread goes from totally sane to insane in the time of just a couple of posts :joy:

I don’t have much to post in this thread as I work every weekend but great catching up with what you guys are up too.

Have a great weekend guys

If you like a bit of Liam Gallagher. Get following him, Bonehead and Tim Burgess where they’ll be listening and discussing Liams new MTV Unplugged album
That’s out today #TimsTwitterListeningParty @ 19:00 BST (50 mins time)

The bathroom restoring is going on.
Getting better and better.
(Less dust)

The weather is fine, so the fellow can cut the tiles and thrilling holes outside.
More space for him and his machines.

The weekend has landed!
We are now preparing for a bike ride, 11 miles today.
After that we will be doing some baking (probably something chocolaty) roast chicken for dinner followed by a film and popcorn!

Whatever you guys get up to i hope its everything you would like it to be.

No chance to get out of the house!
I have to "keep an eye " on my fellows here.
Not they are doing some lazy work or something wrong, not at all.

But they need this and that.
So good I have such a lot of tools in the basement.

And if I dont have my neighbors got it.
Like a “Genossenschaft” (socialist cooperative society)

So my broken arm is mostly healed, it’s 5 weeks now and I got on my bike and was not in agony so given I’m vulnerable I just zigzagged no more than a couple of miles from house. But did a lot of zig and zag and was out for hours.

The most tired part of me was the wrist, the mear act of holding a bike handlebar and using a brake was the most tiring part.

But… end of having to walk for me.

Means: not in the community as much as can just be out looking at the world directly. My next project can resume.

I have the “curse”, some call the gift, of living in a future, I observe and accumulate patterns in nature, which means this pandemic, this lockdown, I knew was coming about 4 months before most did, so I got ready for it. I’m now getting ready for the next two things which any scientist knows is coming but won’t say. Hint: buy rice and an umbrella and not be less than 30ft above a river. It was unusually warm and dry spring and what goes up must come down.

Today the ghosts are very busy!
Monday !!!

Glad youre getting ok on the bike @professor. I find my wrists ache when biking, softening the suspension helps but the vibration still takes its toll after a few miles. Keep it up and enjoy the fresh air and exercise.
