We made some exercise for the legs today.
3.5 hours walking on this beautiful island made not only for pensioners.
Today I will prepare fresh “atum” e “batatas” e “vinho tinto”
no need to translate.
Nice weather ca 23C sunny.

Next time you should ask for “Jagertee” ( Special “tea” for huntsmen)
They will not know what it is and there is no snow either…hehe.

Today is the opening day for the Welcome Tower in SF

found this while i was at piers during the weekend, should see something today or tomorrow, since its officially opening today. It has been created using doors from residents throughout San Francisco’s historic neighborhoods. The Welcome Tower (re-imagined version of Coit Tower) is a gift to the city to call attention to new solutions in housing accessibility. The murals within the interior (i have not gone inside it…heard it from few people standing next to the tower, will see sometime in few days) pay tribute to the eclectic soul that has shaped the identity of San Francisco City.
The symbol of creativity reminds us that SF is a Hub of culture, art and freedom of expression created by the people.

Been quite a subdued Saturday as the weather has been variable.
After a bit of shopping we did stop at a cafe for a drink and snack.
Best sausage roll I’ve had in ever!

It was actually a mocha.
Not sure how I got into mochas, I usually plump for a latte.
I’ll put it down to my age 
Wow… I am pretty much coffee / cappuccino / latte person, never really tried mocha… Hope to try it sometime
