Weekend activities! (old thread reanimated)

It’s been good weather this last week

Today

Earlier in week

Biked 220 miles this last week, I’d do more but my knee complains (still) after surgery, but getting stronger. It doesn’t hurt biking, but the biking makes walking worse, so “listening” and doing the odd doing-absolutely-nothing days. Usually I can do 350-500 miles a week when weather good.

Great photos there @professor
Glad the knee is getting better.
Hopefully you’ll be back to full fitness to get the miles in over the summer months.

Hey @ikari04warrior
The plan, in order of priority:
1, chocolate
2, beer
3, more chocolate
4, bit more chocolate
5, barbecue
6, eat the last of the chocolate
7, spend the next two weeks being strict on the diet to lose the pounds gained in point 1 to 6

Any plans yourself mate?

Sounds like a great plan! Especially the beer and barbecue part

I haven’t made any plans for tonight but tomorrow we will be going over to my sister’s for a cookout. Just family members, and maybe 2 friends.
Besides that, I’ll probably play some videogames and clean the inside of my car since I haven’t done it in a few months now

Spot the driver who ignored the tidal warnings…?

Tides going down by a foot already so likely flooded footwell.

Anything a little different?

This year its Nerf Easter.
5 numbered cups.

3 darts and the number you hit relates to a prize or challenge.

Nice with vanilla or chocolate ice-cream

I took the past week off work since I was gonna lose my vacation time otherwise. I had recently got a new to me SUV, a 2010 Acura MDX and since I don’t know if the timing belt had ever been changed I went to tackle this job… Sadly I was defeated by the infamous crank pulley bolt that just would not budge. So I just changed the oil and spark plugs and cleaned the car up.

Saturday we took 9 rims and tires to the shop to have them remove all the old tires off the rims, the shop did it so fast and amazingly cheap I ended up giving them an extra 20 bucks for a total cost of 60 dollars. When we got home, my son spent the afternoon scrubbing and cleaning the rims up of all the dirt and brake dust that built up on then. These were extra rims we had for my car and my wife’s, where we would swap out winter and summer tires, but now I’m just gonna sell them since we only have my wife’s car that can use them and we don’t need 4 sets of rims for her car.

Today is cleaning day for me, I go back to work tonight so I’m trying to wear myself out early cleaning everything around the office and bedroom as well as doing laundry. This way I can hopefully fall asleep around 1or 2 pm and then head off to work for my night shift around 7 and be well rested.

Oh, here is a few pictures of my new ride
