Looks like after 3+ years I’ve finally landed my first product with an out of the box issue :frowning: Drop out on the left earbud…need to do some additional testing but I think I’m looking at a return / replace job…

Oh no, maybe try pairing g and resting with a different device?

Tried a reset last night after a full charge, no dice so far with the same behaviour on iPhone 7, iPad & Macbook…brought them into work to try on my Windows PC when I get a moment…thinking its a internal manufacture defect as I’ve noticed a ever so slight gap on the seam of the affected earbud…

Not good to have a defective piece, but it’s better you than a new customer:joy:

My review is still pending from over two months ago, who do I contact to get this approved finally?

True…finally tested on a Windows PC today with the same results, 4 for 4 (though after two I was convinced)…

In an Amazon first (well for me) they have decided it would be quicker & more convenient ‘to me’ to contact Soundcore support to resolve the issue…rather than undertake a replacement & return with them tomorrow  :man_facepalming: Gotta love em’

I know it’s “not the right thing” and I have NEVER done this  but you could buy some new ones from somewhere and return them as faulty? Just saying…

Nah I’m good , I could force a return but by the time its processed etc the reduced offer (yep, being mercenary here) will be up for re-ordering a replacement…the upcoming mystery box will keep me occupied in the absence of the P2 for the moment

Cool.
But what a neat idea though.
I saw something on YouTube a few years ago where someone had a problem with a high street retailer, basically they wouldn’t accept a warranty claim for something a few months old.
The customer bought a new one from them and returned the faulty one a few days later with the recent receipt. As it was under 30 days they didn’t query it.

I would think they would have security measures in place after the recieve faulty product. For example cross referencing the serial number of product brought.
