UK Flare deal £42

image

Note this is not the Flare Mini nor the Flare+

£6 less than the deal posted 5 days ago. Patience is a virtue to those wanting the lowest cost.

This one below annoys me it says deal of the day and yet it is only 20% discount, that’s a very common discount and so should not be posted as it risks community members not aware of how Anker moves its discounts, into buyer’s regret. So not posting a link, this item will end up lower cost almost certainly, it’s the Soundcore, not the 2, like the above is the Flare, not Flare+ so it needs to be 40%+ discount to be worthy of posting.

These are all the Soundcore offers today

Great deal there @professor
Isn’t it a little naughty that the RRP on my share was £59.99 and £72.99 on yours just a few days later.
The price is better, but showing a higher RRP is very misleading from a retailer.

Right. So there is therefore only the price, not the price off and not the discount. Fortunately my screenshots I take each time is a recorded history.

On the same day they have it at two different RRP. Note this often happens as different colours have different RRP so you have to click on the link to go the colour matching the claimed discount.

If I click on the email where is says 30% off £59.99

It shows

So on the same day, three are two different RRP and two different discounts.

The only truth is the price, not the discount.

That is true.
Shouldn’t matter how big the saving is in order to make a buying decision, that should be on the actual cost.
But a price on its own doesn’t make a headline or for good marketing - Black Friday shows that.
Huge savings and discounts on often average products which sit at the back of the store or online for a month at an overly inflated high price just to show a saving for a special event - a special event dictated and fed to us by the commercialists and the marketeers.
So what do the majority do? Run out as fast as they can wallets in hand and spend spend spend!
