True and good point. I’d obviously check to make sure everything works before actually plugging it in. We’ve talked about getting a generator, but they’re a big expense up front. There was a big wind storm a couple weeks ago that knocked out power for 3 days. I was thinking it could be powerful enough for the deep freeze, or the even the hot water heater so we all could shower. I need to go and check the power consumption of those things anyway. At the very least it could just power a few lamps since the sun sets here around 4:30pm this time of the year.
