So it’s really is a how sneaky is Anker guess, it’s anything up to 16 at the extreme.

If you look at Anker’s replies they are checking when a user was last present, so it’s return users. Random pick the post above yours. Their only post in 3 years.

So yes, from Anker’s perspective they will be seeing this as a success as they got users returning.

But if they just return to do 1 post then nothing else, then it’s less good.

Yes someone who signed up, on Anker’s email list, got an email saying $60 free stuff, posts exactly once. The question in Anker’s mind is will they do anything, look at reviews, decide to buy something, etc. If just a few do, then it’s a profitable competition for Anker.

Existing Ankerholics you can’t really sell that much more product, but L0 lurker if a small fraction are encouraged, then its a big win.

I can fully see this from a sales perspective.
