Hey @Erich_Robinowitz1 that’s great news! I hope its working out great.
As yet I’ve heard / received nothing, but there’s still time!
It would be great to try out at work as I need the capacity. But if it doesn’t come, I won’t lose any sleep over it.

Congrats zu the winners. I use this usb-c hub for quite a while for my youtube videos connecting to the ipad Pro 11. I love it :metal:

Thanks so much for the hub. Will try to use it for my old DLSR (SD Card) which does not even have WiFi or alike, so offloading photos on the go to my smartphone (USB-C) might work, we’ll see
If that doesn’t work out I’ll probably use it once the Steam Deck comes or, considering X-Mas is around, I’ll gift it to someone with a Laptop or … what I wanted to say: it will definitely get used and won’t catch dust in a drawer or sth.

To update to this I had an email.

This was great news, apart from the fact it never arrived.
Thought perhaps Hermes was delivering, but its Royal Mail.
I’ll chalk this one down as a loss :pensive:

Hermes (I call it Herpes )
Yesterday a parcel was announced and it really arrived.
This was the first time this “Herpes” did a perfect delivery.
What a miracle.
Was it possible to track it, Paul?

“I hope to admit its getting better”

A parcel actually arrived?
Probably broken though right?

Hey @professor
Thanks, done that. Plus we get in well with our neighbours so they would have handed it to me.
I’ll catch the local postie next week and see what he says. :crossed_fingers:t2:

No!
A real “herpes-miracle”

Catch the “postie” - >

catch

would be good if , seeing as they use Amazon warehouse and logistics if they let you give an Amazon locker address.

I also got a Soundcore code for winning something and the code didn’t work. Making it too complex, I think an Amazon voucher code is the best answer, choose what item you want and get tracking and can use Locker. The way they ship whenever they want with whoever they want and you may or may not get it is just making something simple into something complex for no good reason.

Amazon locker would be a good alternative and quite close to home.

Looking at the tracking details the item left Anker/ UK warehouse, arrived at Amazon and left Amazon all on the 9th.
But nothing from Royal Mails side. I have a tracking number which isn’t recognised in Royal Mails system.

You would think it would be easy, but obviously not.
Maybe it will turn up, maybe it won’t!
If it does, it will be a nice surprise.

Amazon voucher code works be great, but guess from Ankers perspective the code could be used for something other than an Anker product.

they can make codes unique to products

That was a fairly common means to do the free item for review a few years ago - so that it looked like a verified purchase item for the review.

Amazon since fixed that so if it was free or below a certain price with a code it wouldn’t be verified, but I would guess Anker prefers to avoid the appearance of being in that shady group.

Well ain’t that clever!
That is a simple and good solution.

After a few day delay this arrives today.
