I never do lol. Only if they call at least 3 times
Spam / Robo / Marketing Calls - How to avoid these?
Define “unknown”.
In my case they show as as real phone numbers, from people I don’t know. I would like a more intelligent call screening method if anyone has one. The most common robo number has the same 6 initial digits as mine.
It is neighborhood spam where the First 6 digits are same as your area and then last 4 digits are changed. I avoid lot of spam calls, still answer some of them, not sure which ones are spam or robo
Attaching some of calls I missed, these left some wierd language voicemails… these are 100% spam or robo or scam calls
Unknown- a number I don’t have a contact for, or haven’t seen before.
I get these unknown calls where there is no number shown at all.
When I get these calls I let my phone go to voicemail. If no message is left, I assume it’s a sales call and block the number. Some times before blocking the number i send the following text.
Received a call from this number and I don’t recognize it. Who’s calling.
If no response is sent within 5 or 10 minutes I block the number.
You are so naughty!
I have TMobile and supposedly they block spam calls. I used to get them constantly like 3 months but I gotta say stopped. I don’t know if it’s TMobile blocking them or they just gave up on me
I’m annoyed about these marketing calls. I can get a lot of calls every day, let me apply for a credit card, or borrow money from a bank.
Its a small service I offer to the world. I get to spend my time scratching that troll itch I have and it keeps them from bothering some other poor person for a little while. win - win - win
I’ve gotten to the point where I can keep them on for about 20 minutes before I get board. Thank goodness for bluetooth headsets!
Here in the US I get some about my car warranty is about to expire and I need to renew it and stuff. They usually name a brand of a car I don’t own or say my ‘truck’ when I don’t own one lol
Lol yeah I’ve done that before…
You have to time it right where you get in your car, say you don’t own a car because its illegal for you to drive after the last incident, and then turn the car on. If they ask about the car sound in the background just say how its fine and that you really have to go because you’re late for your community service…
That type of call, a person, I rarely get.
Real people doing harm, I know how to tie them up.
Sounds like you’ve been giving the scammers hell
The spam callers have been a great outlet for me… “Creativity”…?
My cube mates at work love to hear me go on with these people while I’m typing away on my keyboard. The first few times they thought I was actually giving out my credit card number but soon realized that wasn’t the case… lol
Oh my, I would LOVE an IRS call
I once spoke to a IRS spam caller, it was fun… then there was another caller for Windows Texh repair asking me to install and app and give him the pin…
You need to start recording them
