The only accurate (used loosely as you are talking countdown in 10% chunks) way I am aware of is on iOS devices. From a quick read about Android on Google (been two years since I last used) many suggest it is due to security lockdown on the stock Android. Not certain if this is still the case, the article is from 2015;

Hi ndalby, how would you say the sound quality compares between these ones and the non-NB10 SoundBud Sports?

I noticed in your review that you said that you’ve used that model before, so I was wondering if you noticed any differences in audio quality between the two.
Hi @Martin_B1 , I would say the sound quality on the Slim model was best in the limited time that I used the non-NB10. I say limited because I found the non-NB10’s to be uncomfortable when in the ear (so did a couple of family members), so audio quality testing did suffer between the two models.
Some have found the non-NB10’s to be good, it’s more a case of personal preference and your ear type of course
