Powerport II issues

I changed screens and batteries of different type of phones often.
I remember some the battery was glued inside.
What a sh*t to get this garbage out, without!!! destroying other parts.

We all know if the screen of a phone need to be changed you have to open it.
If it is really sealed, no chance without damaging the case.

No Mac:
Broken battery and broken screen.
These can be changed if you can open the mobile without any damage of the case.

But they can be opened, with the right equipment, how else do engineers fix them?

Im not saying g you Franz, but too many over the years just go in blindly, then realise they don’t know shit, close it back up, and send it back saying faulty.

I had used such toys and used these often.
With some skill you can open those cases.

But if the phone is really ā€œsealedā€ (glued) , there might be no chance.
I dont know if they glue the case of the phones now.

But eg. It should be hard to open an ANKER’s powerbank without causing damage.

The phones can be taken apart, but just with heat guns and great care!

As for Anker goods, I don’t know. What’s cheaper… Bin n replace, or repair?

I know there is a lot, nope, HUGE amount of money made from recycling modern tech. My best friend’s dad, has made a good whack doing just that, but my god, is he a tight arse!

I am an old styled engineer and an ā€œUbootā€-fan.
I try to repair everything.
Using internet , this whole repairing ideology is getting so beautiful and easy.
There are so many helpful instructions about,
there are so many around the world are sly ā€œtinkersā€.

I give up very seldom.

The best is, if something can be repaired with ā€œBordmittelnā€.
This expression is taken from the ā€œUbootā€-scene.
This means with ā€œship’s resourcesā€.

Ships resources, is indeed a good method.

I remember when my ex (I was with her at the time!) bought her first brand new car, our friend (a mechanic of 30+ years and fully trained etc) said, I fix 20 cars a day, but I am not touching this. There’s at least 20 little computers in the engine bay alone. I’m an old school engineer, and all this modern stuff is getting too complicated.

That was 12 years ago.

I’ve seen phones cha he a lot since my first in 93, and knew eventually all phones would be sealed.

JA Mac:
If there is a problem with your car a smart fellow is showing up.
Cravat and suit of course.
Plugs in a laptop., does some clicks and will tell you:
YOU NEED A NEW CAR!
