yeah I just saw the updated number now too. Last I saw was last night when I read about the multiple billionaires and companies that were sending $100m+ each

I know but we were talking about some artwork if I remember correctly. It’s been a couple years now so can’t remember perfectly

Such an incredible loss of art and history. Thankfully, most of the structure was saved. It’s encouraging to see so many with wealth band together to rebuild what was lost. Many of those who have pledged to give money for the construction are tech companies, like Apple. I believe the last number I read is 450 million pledges.

Glad to see people banding together in a tragedy like this.

I hope the responsible worker has a good insurance. They don’t know what exactly happened but I think that someone messed up

I’ve deliberately skipped the news today (mind since Brexit I’ve not been watching anyways) as don’t want to see it all burnt out with no spire/tower… Spire is pointy, a tower is squarer!
