The more I see the specs I can’t help wonder what is really the point of the mini, after all it’s essentially just over 1cm shorter in height, with less power, features and what seems like forced bass…for a saving of $10 
How inconvenient could an extra 11mm really be to someone on the normal Flare???
Couldn’t agree more. Just buy the regular flare… plus I’m sure it’s not backwards compatible with the original flare… just saying

Yep, that’s what I thought as well…thought it was going to be somewhere in-between the Mini 2 and the Flare for a ‘mini’ size

I’m excited for a second generation Flare. No signs of it yet but a doubt we’ll have to wait too much longer considering its popularity and initial release date becoming increasingly long ago.

I have the Flare+ and that speaker rocks (no pun intended).
And I thought the price for the Flare Mini was gonna be between $30 and $40 
I’d rather do the flare, it’s not much smaller and can probably score a flare for $50 on prime day
