Yes, a place like that would need a pretty bright projector. I work in AV at a college and we have to use at least 3500 lumen projectors. Even higher if they have windows in the rooms. This would really only be good in a tent or a really dark room.

Thanks, the projector looks good from many points. However, some users wish it would have more display resolution because it has only 720P display resolution. It should have more brightness as well.
