We give away stuff every year in exchange for “MootBucks,” a fake monopoly-style currency people get for participating in sessions and completing twitter contests and stuff. Then we have this crazy auction at the end of the conference where we give away real stuff (we’ve given away Myo Armbands, AppleTVs, Sphero Ollies, Kindles, etc) in exchange for our MootBucks. You’d be amazed how people get crazy over Mootbucks.

Well sadly I’m not wherever you are then. But yeah, solar power is the best way to go these days, but not many can afford a solar power case or generator. Hell I cant even afford the cheap $11 ones on Amazon!

And I think that’s because people forget we can turn light into energy or forget about solar panels in general!

I power my phone all summer with solar. I wouldn’t advise charging the phone directly from the solar panel - you need to use a battery in between. My standard is an Anker Astro E1 (5000 mAh) - I let it charge in the sun all day then charge the phone from it. I went 7 months without plugging into a wall last summer. Unfortunately at my latitude I can’t maintain it all year, but I can get pretty close!

just the plain fact that the speakers were made by anker is good for me :slight_smile: i would like all :slight_smile: Specifically i would like the boost because i like the design and features. my big preference is the boost

Avoid those - go for at least a $35 backpack (enerplex works well). Though, of course, Anker’s 21w solar array is the best :grin:

Whatever you do, don’t get one of those power banks with the solar on it. Those take forever to charge.

I am excited about the new lineup of speakers and I think the Soundcore Plus would be the perfect speaker to take camping. Portable yet full of sound. I can use it inside the trailer and during the day take it out to the picnic table or perhaps take it to the beach if it’s not too far of a hike. I may even let my son use it occasionally :zipper_mouth:
