Intro YouTube

I want to create a intro for a video I want to post about a review… I don’t know how to create one. If anyone has made a intro for their channel can you show me how to do this? Thanks. I’ve checked videos on YouTube on how to create one but they are not clear and some don’t even work.

If your making an intro for your channel, you want it to be short and sweet. No more than a minute or two, say who you are and what the purpose of your channel is. And like the saying goes, “Keep it simple stupid”… Not implying that your stupid, but over thinking your intro and trying to cram too much I to your intro makes it over complicated and cluttered

Edit: thanks for reminding me, I’m about 3 weeks behind posting my intro and updating my channel info… Oops

i mean like the intro you have at the start of the video. for example the first 8 seconds of @TechnicallyWell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpiJTRQ1Vvk
well something like this.

Gotcha, sorry about the misunderstanding. I’m still working on adding those to my videos as well.
But, find yourself a good video editing program that allows you to cut and add clips into your video, then play around with different features to find what you like

do you know any video editing programs or intro makers?

I think Jonathan Morrison (Tech Youtuber) has a video of him editing on one of the softwares (forgot the name). Maybe that can help you a little just to get started

I actually had a friend create my intros, then I pick out the songs and spend way too much time trying to sync them up :joy:. I believe he uses Adobe After Effects to create the animations.

I use Camtasia: https://www.techsmith.com/video-editor.html

I just added an intro to my last review:

It will take some learning, but TechSmith has good tutorials. It’s a bit expensive but you can try it free for 30 days and create a short mp4 you could add to the beginning of all your videos using a free editor like imovie.

Camtasia is a great app for video editing in general… Also since it’s a mobile World now - Videoshop Video editor is a good option for iOS, use it all the time fo

Videoshop - Video Editor by Jajijujejo Inc.

Thats cool, will try it when I actually create some videos myself. No time for them rightnow.

Haha I’ll show you my next unboxing video coming out in a few days.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_p9j_oQNGePsd1fjsdAeXA Subscribe everyone will be uploading a video soon

You will be surprise how many you tubers with a good amount of subscribers just bought a premise one. I can’t remember the website but they cost around 15-25 dlls and they are customizable. You just need to make sure is for either Premier or Final cut.

Glad you found the help you needed it. And like others said, just keep it short and simple. I usually skip them if they are too long
