And these PBs weren’t even spendable with the lack of auctions or powerdraws recently, so not a lot missed.

I’d worry this is representative of their commitment. I mean, it already is, but y’know, universally. It’s next to nothing they’re giving away here… digital currency is what you get when an 8 year old learns about fiat money. But they’re spending reputation to keep it.
If they can’t lift a finger to add a hundred power bucks to the accounts that commented on any of three specific threads (a list of whom would be a snap for many of us here without admin privileges to generate), how much effort should we expect when they ship the wrong product, or no product at all?

And I dont know if you know about all the discussions we had about that bucks and
such deadlines in the past.
But you see the result :
We, the “old regulars” dont care so much about. 
Just think of them as internet points. Limited real value. Like karma on reddit - how much trouble do people go to to get that? And it can’t be traded for anything.
They have a certain budget for giveaways here, that might be loosely related to user counts? PBs increase with the number of active users. If most get 100 extra points, to get an extra entry or two in a power draw, it reduces all our odds per entry about the same. We are experiencing an inflationary cycle devaluing our internet points!
Also, many here have some experience with their customer support on real products. It is professional and helpful. You can’t really extrapolate from their forum support.
