Faster wireless charging standards

While culture often drives technology you can extrapolate from the last century. There was a time that automobiles were fround upon to not scare horses, but now you cannot put a horse on a freeway. I see eventually self-driving cars getting more safe than humans at driving that most humans will be banned from driving. I see the idea of making light on a screen to be seen by the eye being see as distracting.

I’m saying, basically, you’ll have no choice, once culture accepts a technology, under democracy, the law then changes to make it mandatory.

Shortly I will be spending hours / day without looking at a phone screen, I have on order some bone conducting sunglasses (with clear lens for winter) and I’ll glance at a watch screen and then interact that way, well at least try (and if fail then learn from it). So then my phone is spending more time to be… recharged… what has improved this last year or so is voice recognition so less typing.

To a significant degree this is why the voice systems, Alexa vs Google Assistent vs others is a war going on. You basically move away from a battery draining screen with you to other technology, as you look at the screen less it can be recharging more often. Currently a smartwatch acting as a phone is not practical, but… 5-10 years?

So I’m saying while I cannot predict the future (as its cultural, not scientific) , I think the idea of high performance distant wireless charging of phones is not going to be the solution as it comes with scientific safety limitations which society will reject (just takes a human to be microwave cooked just once and see it banned immediately).

My charger went wrong:

More radiation, so it will be not my “thing”.
