How did you sort it? It happens exactly the same to mine. I also tried without the brush and continues doing the same.
Eufy Robovac Error/Beep
I haven’t found the right solution yet. I’m sick of hoovering already
did you guys ever figure this out? I am sad to announce that I have joined the 4 beeps constant red light club. i cleaned everything, got a new battery, tried running without the roller brush, and disassembled the eufy completely.
Oh no @James_Davis4
No, I gave up to be honest. It’s so gutting but I’m not spending £200+ on something that has no durability or canny be fixed.
My car has just had a problem and it’s got to have a new fuel additive tank. Peugeot are covering the cost of the tank (£950) I just need to pay labour.
Shame @AnkerOfficial cannot offer us a deal to send us a replacement for 25% cost or something
So mine works - at least for the time being. I took the little servo motor out that spins the brush. I took the housing around the belt off and reset the belt on the gears. I also cleaned a few hairs out of this area but not a ton. After that I tested it a few times just holding the housing together while watching the motor spin. It seemed to be working so I put everything back together. It has been running for about 20 minutes now without issue.
@AnkerSupportcan you suggest what is causing this issue here, and a solution?
I have also got the same problem. My Eufy runs for maybe 60/90 seconds then stops with solid red light and four beeps. I have stripped it down and cleaned it and have tried running it without the brush head as described above but still get the same issue.
I remember i had a similar issue.
Really weird.
I sprayed some contact spray in/on the main switch.
All issues were gone.
But I can not tell you why!
A miracle.
Are there any beeps when you switch on/off the main switch on the bottom?
There were no, I remember, so I used that contact spray.
Oh my goodness, this is an old thread but I really hope it helps someone! The combination of advice and ideas on here got our beloved Robovac (Gus) back working again! He had exactly the issues described above. I sprayed a teeny bit of WD40 oil into the hole for the roller brush bar. That got him going again with the roller removed….but when the roller was put back in he’d stop again. We then noticed the (relatively new!) roller bar was pretty stiff at spinning even when he wasn’t on. We sprayed a bit of WD40 on the moving end of the roller bar (one end is static - the other rotates). This seems to have solved his problem and he’s got a new lease of life!! Hoping similar steps may help another Robovac lover! Gus is 3 now and still going strong
You can also remove the plastic cover at the end of the open end (rotating)
by using pliers and remove the hair inside.
Greetings from old Willy (3 years old like Gus)
The monkeys are his service team.
You see them here swapping Willy’s battery, last year.
Fortunately I could take away the scissors, they wanted to use.
Wow!!! I love this Well done monkey engineering team! You’re doing a great job!
totally understand her. I have the same situation))) my darling was over the moon when I brought this boy home!
mine is turning today 3 years old, haha
Old willy is s a few weeks older.
Lets start a competition:
Who owns the eldest 11S here.
The winner gets nothing, but will be very famous!
This made my evening hubby and I are loving the fact that so many people love them as much as we do. Gus is 3 years next month
I may have bought Gus a girlfriend in the PrimeDay sale as I had given up hope of fixing him He’d been down for a couple of months before I found this thread and I was convinced he’d gone. But did a last ditch attempt for CPR before saying goodbye. And he’s back!! So now I feel very cheeky at being a double Robovac family
Gwen lives upstairs and Gus downstairs
long may they be a happy couple!
Willy is a tough ole’ bugger!
I found this thread after experiencing a similar phenomenon. Eufy appears to be charged and then goes for about 50 seconds before stopping, emitting 4 beeps, and turning the light red. I changed the battery, no improvement. I took out the roller and removed some hairs (per advice here), no improvement. I took out the roller altogether, no improvement.
Finally, I used compressed air to blow air on both ends of the roller and both insertion points for the roller. Eufy has been merrily cleaning for about 10 minutes now. Fingers crossed.
Thanks!
Yes indeed a perfect cleaning could help.
When (My daughter and I) dissasemble old Willy, he was full of debris,
though I clean him always.
Opening such a Robovac is easy.
Not everyone has compressed air, but a cleaning by hand an by vacuum will help of course
I had the same issue with my Eufy 15C Max… four beeps and solid red light.
I cleaned the brush. I took it all apart to inspect the belt driven “transmission”. Cleaned the interior.
This is a new unit this year.
NEW INFORMATION… my solution.
I noticed that the brush was hard to spin around (this is why I thought there was stuff in the belt driven section inside). But… it is actually the bearing end of the roller brush.
The non-driven end of the roller brush should spin freely. Mine did not.
I put the end in the vise and lightly held it in place to pull off the end. Cleaned it, used some garage door track spray lube, and BAM! it is working 100% again.
Hopefully this helps someone.
