Agreed. I bought an iPad Pro simply because it uses USB-C. The superior port.

People don’t like change. The “Lightning” connection is anything BUT that. It’s a slow USB 2.0 port. Outdated, proprietary and very slow compared to today’s standards (USB 3.2 and higher).

I use a ‘Micro USB to USB-C’ cables for older devices.
Works perfectly in charging or for data. I adapted.
