Do you use Anker USB charging cables or another brand?

I used to use amazon basic lightning cables, but have found that the cover over the lightning has come away on one and the sheath is coming away from the lightning connector. I got some braided cable with a brand I’ve never heard of starting with an “i” from amazon and it seems good so far. I had worries over the Anker cables over the overheating issues with some of the cables. I hear that the new upgraded ones fix this issue but I’m still a bit wary and don’t want to shell out more than i did for a cable that i don’t have an issue with over one that I know loads had issues with previously… I’ll see how they pan out over time in the reviews before getting an Anker one. My brother had bought one of the Ankers ones and he says he had great customer service and that when he expressed his concerns, Anker replaced it with either a more premium one in the range or the upgraded cable (I forget exactly which) so it seems that customer service is still as good as ever.

i switch between anker and other cheap brands on amazon that have life time warranties. i usually keep the official apple cables wrapped up in the box they came in and usually don’t use them.

I did use a mixture of Anker and Volutz cables for micro USB phones. Both ave stood up to abuse over the past 2 years or so.

I’m now using an Anker USB A-C cable and the Google USB A-C cable for my new phone. The Google cable always seems to outperform the Anker cable when it comes to charging rates. I’ve not tested them with data rates.

Not heard of Volutz cables. Will need to check them out.

Using Anker’s charging cables. Love the nylon version and of course the amazing Powerline series!

Of course I use Anker cables! I have one for my iPhone in my work van, works great and have had no issues. I’ve bought some other cheaper ones along the way, and while those are still around, I prefer Anker. Meanwhile my Apple branded cables are torn up, somehow. I never thought it’d happen but it did and it does, every time I get a new Apple device, its cable breaks. Must be the kids.

I have used Anker and Choetech and other makes. I have been happy with Anker and Choetech but overall I tend to get Anker cables because then tend to come with Anker products which are more numerous. For example I got a delivery last week of a Powercore 26800, came with 2 short thin cables.

Cables are what wear the most of everything I have, and sockets on phones. The cables I got say 4 years ago with devices are worn to the point they can’t charge much fast now and a little dodgy give them a wiggle.

I like to use Qi wireless receiver plates under cases, or Qi enabled phones, because that makes the phone last the longest and so the cable is to the Qi transmitter.

It will take years before I could in hindsight form a balance defensible view of Anker cable reliability. I know more of what fails than long term what works right now.

The best brand I like is Baseus.

They have great designer team, great operation and management philosophy, great products quality.

Finally, they market focus on young people, package design pretty like a Japanese finest gift.
