If you are using a type c device with an unregulated cable (no 56k resistor) or just cheap type-c cables in general then you still run the risk of device getting hot & possibly catching fire. No need to worry with Anker products all Anker type-c cables meet USB-C standards.
Handy portable charger for holidays, but it needs more ports, because people usually end up using the one multi-port plug.

Why only US?
IS your point that why is the Type-A Elite was only in a USA giveaway or that the 2 port type is better available on Type-A?

The PowerPort 2 Elite seems like the best charger for traveling when you don’t want to carry around one of Anker’s wall charger that has the cable for extra reach
The Powerport II 2 is what what you’d use in that context as it is physically smaller for traveling with.
