This is an awesome opportunity!! I have tested various products in the past and this one by far could prove to be very useful.
I’ve thought about using a projector in the bedroom to watch movies while laying in bed, this would be great to test out, even during the day as we have blackout blinds in the bedroom, as well as blackout blinds in my home office. I work from home as a software engineer, so I could easily use this as a secondary display (I develop mobile apps, so I could try this out with my Pixel phone or iPhone X as well).
A product becomes much more valuable to me when it can be repurposed and I could easily see this being used when doing presentations on the go (I sometimes go back to my high school and other area schools to talk to students about being an engineer and have brought a portable projector in the past). I would enjoy trying this out with the raspberry pi as I have several smaller LCD’s that I use from time to time but a projector would be a little more convenient (maybe even more reliable than the exposed LCD circuits I have lying around).
With halloween coming up, this could be pared with a raspberry pi running karaoke software.
I am excited about the Nebula Prizm because if it works well, I would love to have a go-to ‘This is it, no questions asked, just go out and buy this.’ I know that the friends and others that come to me for purchasing advice do so because I won’t recommend a product that won’t really resonate with their needs. I like to try out products just to see ‘what needs get filled by this? Who could benefit from this? I know teachers would love this! I know this would work great with my friends at company Z, etc’
I would enjoy the opportunity to test this product out and see how it compares to my experiences with other smaller projectors in the past in the same price range / feature set.
Thank you Anker!
