Yeah, it would be helpful to know if there is any intention to develop an app. I had been trying to wait for the windows app but the wait combined with the survey a while ago about a unit to view the cameras not being fulfilled is making me very hesitant in expanding my system. Especially concerning since there was a recent survey about cloud services.
Windows App for Eufy Security
I stopped my home migration to Eufy cams with the lack of a Windows app being one of the main reasons.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to return much of it, so am still using a 2x 2C cams. I just get the impression (which I accept can be subjective and incorrect) that no matter how helpful and friendly first-line-CS are nothing tangible seems to be happening further up the food chain. I also have reservations about the security architecture so decided not keep the Eufycams I’m still using strictly outside.
Sorry if I seem to be ranting. Perhaps I should have managed my expectations a little better before purchasing. Shrug
10/10/2020 still nothing, not even a freaking response from @AnkerSupport
Taking peoples money and not doing anything for it, great company.
I was buying the higher priced stuff cause I was thinking of getting good support + software with it.
But both sucks D***
I was going to replace all my Arlo products with Eufy but good thing I didn’t. “PC app out to you all before the end of 2019!” with an exclamation mark lol. End of 2020 now!
@AnkerSupport your shunning of your customers here is appalling.
I’ve recently spent over £600 on your products, and whilst I’m happy with the app I too see a benefit to a Windows / PC based system, hence a Google search got me here.
Reading this thread has me worried at your level of customer service and support, it is hardly filling me with confidence. Why have you turned off the option to direct message you on Twitter? Not what you’d expect from a company with their customers interests at the centre of what they do.
I’ve emailed your customer services email address as well as posting here. If I don’t get a response to either then you can have your products back and I’ll buy elsewhere.
Thanks.
Has the Eufy Windows app finally converted to an HTML5 engine? I logged in today and did not get the Flash warning popup. With HTML5 enabled, I am able to display live views on each of my cameras.
The app version is v1.80
Yea it works, thanks.
I just got a response from Anker customer services…
"Thank you for your quick response.
So sorry that the customer support team is mainly working from the email and call service side, and we will pass on the feedback to the community team to get more support in this case.
The good news is the iOS Mac version is now available for the PC to download, and the Windows version is moving to the final testing stage. You will be able to use the device with the PC app very soon.
Apologized again for any inconvenience caused. Any other concerns we can address in the future, please feel free to contact us.
Thank you for your support. Have a lovely day.
Best Regards,
Cherry.

Still waiting for usb hard drive integration. So darn slow service.
Still nothing this would be a game changer for me
Hi, are there any updates on the Windows app for Eufy Security cameras please?
They just lie for years.
I’m astonished and very disappointed that Anker is so silent in this thread about the status and plans for viewing their cameras on a PC. Love it or hate it, Windows is the dominant operating system in the world. Yes, Anker’s apps work fine on IOS, but how can they justify not porting that capability to Windows? I have Eufy cameras and doorbells installed on my primary and vacation homes, and was about to upgrade my Lorex security cameras to all Eufy cameras. Final step was to make sure they would work with my security monitoring service, but guess what: the service requires a PC app for viewing. End of trade. End of using Eufy products. Goodbye all…
Hey,
You can all view your camera with the Web Based App working on every computer Windows & Apple internet Browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari,…)
Just go to this link : https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/
Great Christmas Present thank you for the information Bac1, now Im all set up to view my cameras on the laptop screen.
Hey, yourself! I just tried to view my cameras on that link. Quote: It’s unavailable to play the clips stored in HomeBase local storage by web portal because they have been advanced encrypted. It’s recommended you to play them in the app or subscribe to the cloud recording service. Unquote. So the come-on here is to buy into the monthly charges for cloud services, THE ABSENCE OF WHICH IS CURRENTLY THE MAIN SELLING POINT FOR BUYING INTO EUFY SECURITY TO BEGIN WITH.
The idea that you might be able to view your system cameras on the below link isn’t entirely correct. If you do not subscribe to cloud services you will be unable to view any events at all.
sorry @tobykc but you are wrong, you can view your cameras via the link above without having to have any subscription. If you want to view the events then that has to be done via the app, but otherwise live view can be done via that link and others have even recorded off that site to their external drives
You missed the point. I granted the “view of cameras”. I stand by statement about being unable to view events, meaning past events. I have no desire to real-time manage my system and make “recordings” off of it. I do, however, want to be able to manage device settings and organize event recordings that have already been made on my own local HomeBase2 and to do so on a nice large PC monitor. Try to help me be constructive along with many many other posters, here. Help us motivate EUFY to come through on a two year old promise to deliver the Windows 10 APP and make sure it will nicely interface with our HomeBases. Do not contribute to EUFY’s foot dragging by taking too much enjoyment from jumping the gun on other posters. Be nice (and accurate) - or quiet.
