Greetings all. Bought this product off Amazon last month and had an issue with the startup volume always being at max. Tried everything, nothing worked. Called Anker customer service, carefully followed all instructions and issue seemed not fixable. Ended up returning it to Amazon (couldn’t get an exchange for some reason). Apart from this issue I really liked the speaker and I do want to buy it again but I’m really worried about having the same issue again. Is it most likely a defective speaker??

That’s such a shame.
So the first thing is you can’t disable the start-up sound.
It’s unusual the start-up sound is at max volume.
Of the Soundcore products I have I would say its about 25% volume.
As its easy to return to Amazon I would try another as its a great little speaker.

Seems this was definitely a defective item.
By the way there is no possibility to turn off this “start sound”.
