These USB-C to USB-A cables were exactly what I was looking for. While I have a dedicated USB-C charger, it only supports one port that is full dedicated to my HP Elitebook x360. These cables provide the flexibility and convenience of using a standard USB-A 2.0 charger that is much more common. This will hold me over until USB-C becomes the everyday standard (which may take a while given the adoption rate and prevalence of USB-A devices)
One thing I noticed immediately was how durable the materials seemed. Time will tell but having double brained nylon to reinforce the cable is a definite plus and should contribute to the longevity of the cable.
This is compatible with Quick Charge 3.0, so I can quickly charge my Galaxy S9 up to ~80% in about a half hour. I also use this with my Nintendo Switch for a charge in between playing. Very happy to add these to my cable repository.
