PowerCore 10000 PD "trickle charge" for Apple Watch & Airpods?

In the user manual for the PowerCore 10000 PD power bank, it recommends using the “trickle charge” function for bluetooth earphones and smart watches.

Does this also apply to Apple Airpods (using the USB-C output with USB-C to lightning cable) and Apple Watch (using the regular USB output and OEM charging cable)?

The apple watch requires 3w of power for the wireless charger, not sure about just plugging direct to the watch. So I’m not sure if the trickle charge function provides sufficient power to charge that watch.

I never thought about trickle charging smartwatches or bluetooth earphones. I guess it makes sense. Anyway, in case anyone don’t know or forgot how to enable trickle charge, see this thread:
When to enable trickle charge mode? Powercore 10kPD.
