Power distribution between the two IQ3 ports is not stated and the most important part. The implication is 1 port gets 65W, if both used then one goes to 45W and the other 18W?

Laptop charging usually means 45W.

The higher the input Wattage of the Powercore, the more it calls for even higher Wattage multiport Powerport. Say you spent all day traveling working with your 45W laptop, phone, and this Powercore. You’d likely want to not wait the 2.7h to recharge this Powercore and then plug in your laptop, you’d likely want at least 100W, if not higher dual port (if not higher) charger to recharge this and the laptop and other devices.

So this 65W input Powercore just beckons where is the dual 45W + a few 10W port 100W+ charger?

That’s a serious PowerCore @Insider good share.
Specs aside, that top plate looks like it’s metal, I love it.

Wow, that looks like a beast!

The need for metal increases with Wattage, you’re sweating the cells faster regardless of the DC-DC conversion, then add the conversion ontop, you need to dissipate more heat.

Long term longevity of the decay of Lithium cells at this Wattage has yet to be shown. I have healthy scepticism.

It would be good if Anker shared their test results, they’ve been likely sweating the prototype for months giving it 18+ months of wear in a shorter time of weeks.

87W via one port, but when multiple ports are used, the total output drops down to 78W.

What’s the split as you use them. I get that multiport is less total Wattage, as there is less efficiency to deliver different voltages.

We asked this when the 100W PD charger happened and it ended up down to owners to figure it out as Anker didn’t tell us.
