Are you saying this works using both BT and infrared?

It is for sure BT, that’s written all over the FCC docs.

I cannot see any hint it has Infrared, and I don’t see a logical reason for it to be both IR and BT, so I think this is an optional purchaseable BT remote to use instead of the bundled existing IR remote.

I only owned the Capsule Max which limits my hands-on experience but I remember that was IR or the phone app, a BT remote would be better for some people (children, say).
