Nebula Mars and Mars 2

I have the opportunity to buy a new original Mars for around $450. Is it a better option than the Mars 2. Is the operating system and auto-focus more important than the higher ASNSI rating of the original Mars? Looking at the comparison chart, I suspect that the Mars Lite and the Mars 2 are basically the same unit. One has autofocus (Mars 2) and they do not disclose the operating system/version on the Lite specs. It looks like the same housing and identical in resolution.

The lite has no operating system, where as the Mars II does. Also if you search on here for reviews you will see more people favored the II over all others
