It seems to be taking forever to to get Past level 8 and now I know I will have to at least double that to get to 10, OH well!, I don’t know what the benefit is anyway

I went up the levels quickly but to get from 9 to 10 is taking months, vs the earlier levels so to 9 took less time than it is now to get to 10. Part of that reason is this forum is quite idle, so there’s little to reply to. They not published the rules of levels really, if its literally a doubling of points then it takes double the time roughly for each level.
