One of my cams flashes blue and red to signal me that there is a firmware update. When I check for a new one there is a new one 4.6.6 ( mine is 4.4.1) I start to update … all seemed to go well but the result remains the same … no update and cam keeps signaling ( and draining the battery)

Cam you factory reset it? If so, do that then update it again
