Doorbell won’t click or lock into place

Does anyone know why or what I can do to fix my doorbell? I have all the mounting brackets in the right place and the doorbell is connected and works fine. Why when I hook it will it not click down and lock into place?? Thanks for any and all help

I have already sent an email to support.eufylife as well and they did respond with an email and some instructions so they may look into the issue.
