Anker PowerCore+ 26800mAh PD 45W not working at all!?

Just received my brand new Anker PowerCore+. When I connect the battery to the charger using the original cable I see the battery being charged: I see the LEDs animate from half circle to full circle which probably means the battery is 50% charged.

1. When disconnecting the battery from the charger and pressing the button, no LEDs light up at all.
2. When connecting the battery to my Google Pixel or MacBook Pro I do not see any power delivery at all. Neither when I press the button after connecting.

Is this battery broken?

PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W not working!?

I purchased a brand new PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W but it doesn’t seem to work. When I charge the battery over USB-C (with the original charger and cable) the LEDs light up and animate from half to full circle. That probably means the battery is charged 50%. When I disconnect the charger and press the button no LEDs light up. When connecting to my Google Phone or MacBook Pro no indication of power delivery shows… Is this battery defective?
