20% Off Liberty Air True Wireless Earphones

£20 off these headphones brings them down to £79.99.
Other than 2 times last year £79.99 seems to be the cheapest these drop to on Amazon (bar voucher discounts)
So if you’re in the market, might be time to snap up a pair.

Do not buy from the Anker store on Ali Express! They will never arrive and when you query them you will get a rude response telling you to be patient. 7 weeks waiting is not impatient. So much for awesome customer service.

@Robert_Byers Was the response rude or mearly asking you to be patient? I’ve dealt with Anker and Soundcore’s customer service teams several times for items and never encountered a wrong word.

Items shipped from AliExpress are not from a warehouse local to your country (such as UK, France etc) so shipping times will be longer…thats without the factors of Coronavirus which have caused delays to a number of companies due to access, staff etc…

I would not respond to a child like this, “Would you please wait with patience?” Sorry not good enough. Tracking info has not updated since 6 April in Singapore so it is not coming to me any time soon. Yes I bought them through Ali Express hoping to save a few pounds but never again.

I’ve had a few small purchases from Ali Express.
Apart from the delivery times to the UK everything else was ok for me. I’ve had friends who have had good and bad experiences with Ali.

I’m interested to know if it was Ali’s customer service or Ankers you contaced or Ali’s, I’m assuming it was Ali Express.

Likewise Paul bought from Ali Express for several years and experience has been consistently good. On this occasion I contacted Anker direct to get their take on the problem first. I honestly got the impression they did not want to know. I’ve now escalated to Ali Express. I doubt I’ll buy from Ali Express again and I’ll certainly be looking at other companies for my headphone replacements. I’ve been out £65 for 6 weeks plsu now with no headphones or resolution. Quick to take my money but not to help with resolving my issues. Good experiences with BOSE & Sennheiser in the past so I’ll be looking there for alternatives.

Its a shame its out you off @Robert_Byers
I think the agreement between Anker and Ali is that Ali looks after their own issues, not sure why, maybe a cost thing.
I’ve only had to call on Ankers help once for a faulty lead purchased from Amazon.co.uk.
The replacement came in days which i can’t grumble with.
Maybe push Ali for a refund and wait for Amazon to have a deal and buy from them.
I can’t garauntee Anker products but from my time on this forum i can vouch for their service dealing direct or from Amazon sale.

Let us know how it plays out with Ali.

Right including vouchers it was £10 lower 6 months ago. The habit on Amazon seems to be RRP, then a discount code, then a voucher, then price increase, then discount, then discount+voucher. So I’d not expect a lower than this price for at least a month. The Liberty 2 is still relatively new so I’m not expecting a big inventory purging price drop for more than a month yet.

In the USA as there is Liberty 2 price drop now, it will drop the Liberty next which usually precedes UK price drops hence why at least a month.

Camel camel camel doesn’t list vouchers, or is there a separate section for that @professor?
I’m quite new to it, I’ve only really been looking at it recently since you’ve mentioned it few times.

No I had to write my own code. You have to go into 2 main entry points:

And then search for “anker” , although Ankerdirect so far has caught them all faster and then here:

Anker has never done a combined lightning deal and a voucher at the same time so have to check both pages.

Learn curl, awk and/or perl.

https://learn.perl.org/first_steps/

My perl script used to only run on Linux but since then I got it working on my phone.

I won’t pretend to understand the above, been a bit rushed tonight.
I’ll give it more time tomorrow @professor :+1:t2:

Personally, I’d just wait for the Liberty Air 2 discount I’d expect in 2 weeks or for this to drop even more.

That use either left or right only bud is for me the real difference worth it. I have the Life P2. I paid £33 for mine so when I look across the difference, I’m not seeing a reason to may more than double the cost right now. I’d expect the Liberty Air 2 to be £80 in 2 weeks.

@professor Damn I missed out :man_facepalming: €33 that’s like $36. Also I think if anything the Life p2 seems better than the liberty air and liberty air 2. The only thing is it doesn’t have touch control :pensive:.

You get what you pay for.

The deal was well posted here, by myself, the day before it was to happen, three times at difference price points. The price was £40 at it’s lowest 6 months ago, £33 is the common lowest now. Liberty 2 I expect £10 reduction in 2 weeks so that’s you options next few weeks.

Told you to wait on the Liberty Air, hopefully you did.

Air 2 £10 less than the Air deal 3 days ago. I was wrong on it being 2 weeks, only 3 days.

It is rare for Anker to do something like this, a better product for less price very close together, they cause people to simply order this and return the other, I’d have waited 2-4 weeks…
