Whenever I attempt to speak to someone at my front door the video feed just freezes and they don’t hear anything I say. I’ve had this doorbell for a few months, and received a few firmware updates, but this bug still has not been fixed.
According to your description, it seems that your transformer is insufficient for our doorbell, which caused this 2-way audio issue. Please be advised that our video doorbell needs a transformer delivering 16-24V/ 30VA (or above) of power, could you please make a device diagnosis in the app to confirm the voltage is under requirement:side menu>my devices>device diagnosis.
There is problem if we have for the installation of the doorbell 30 V rather than the 16-24V ?
I don’t know why, but with my transformer I have 12 or 30V (depending on cables position)
Doorbell voltage is stated as 16-24 volts
And voltage amps is stated to be 30 voltage amps (30Va) or above.
Both are two different things.
I changed my transformer to meet this requirement but unfortunately it did not fix my issues with this doorbell.
