Welcoming AnkerTechnical to the Community

welcome and glad to see the product mangers on here with open communication

@AnkerTechnical my one suggestion to the witelesss chargers is maybe using the same rubbery surface that you use on the powercore slim II 10000 battery where we place our phone. I find the surface now on the the wireless charger stand can be slippery at times. Changing the surface to maybe give it more grip to hold the phone in place more firmly, but I’m don’t know if that would interfere with the wireless capabilities.

I am very glad you like it . May I know where you often use this wireless charger?

Glad you have the Stand type. Where are you always use your wireless charger ? How long do you think is OK ? I think we could improve this on next wireless charger.

Get a wireless charger first, then you will have the motivation to buy a new iPhone :grinning:

The PowerPort Wireless 5 Pad is having a Deal on Amazon, could save some money.

The suggestion about PowerCore and case is highly valued. It’s really great to hear from our users directly.

The rubbery surface will not interfere with the wireless capabilities definitely.

We have improve the surface on new PowerPort Wireless 5 Pad, we use a new rubber painting to make it solid and stable.

May I know the scenario you use this wireless charger and the model of your wireless charger?

Any product related problems can first call @AnkerTechnical!

Welome and thank you for being on this forum ! I won’t hesitate to ask any questions I might have

At work, it is 3M stuck to a dashboard of an air ambulance. Subjected to vibration, direct california heat/cold and pretty much constant use by myself or coworkers.

Right now my night stand…but I believe atleast 6ft…because we can plug it from wall socket to kitchen counters or desk. Not everyone has a usb hub charger

I’m late to the party but welcome to the forum @AnkerTechnical! I used wireless charging when I had my Nexus 4 and loved it for on my desk at work. Aside from using it as a trickle charger during the day I soon found it to be a bit of a gimmick.

My Pixel unfortunately doesn’t have wireless charging

Welcome @AnkerTechnical

Here is one my latest reviews. I hope you take my suggestions and make this a perfect product going forward. See first and last post or read the whole thread:

I hope its not bad I asked this in the threads, both seem like they could work.

Welcome to the community, @AnkerTechnical!

I’m using the PowerPort wireless 5 pad with a Moto z2 force edition and the Incipio OffGrid Power Pack, which is a battery for the phone as well as a wireless charger. I find that the Powerport works well. It charges substantially slower than the USB-C connection that is built into the phone, of course, but the convenience is worth it.

One thing that I think you got right with this charging pad is the low light blue indicator. This is the type of thing that people want beside the bed, so they can set it on there overnight and pick it up. This is the application I have for the product. If the LED indicator is too bright it can keep you awake. That’s a problem. This one doesn’t have that problem.

I’ve also noticed that this product gets a bit warm, but not hot. Whatever you’ve done to keep the temp reasonable is working.

All in all, a great product, and it seems that it would work with a variety of products.
