Soundcore Spirit Sports earphones loss of sound

I bought a set of Soundcore Spirit Sports earphones in July. I’ve been very happy with them, a week or so ago the sound in the right earphone (nearest the control unit) faded to be almost non-existent.
The volume is the other earphone is still as good as ever but I can’t work out what the problem could be with the left one.
It’s not that there is no sound at all but it is barely noticeable.
Any suggestions?

I would recommend cleaning them really good, often times when we wear them we get hot and heat liquified your ear wax and it seeps into the mesh screen and beyond blocking the sound.
