I hope Anker would add outlets like that to their product line.
Perhaps with QC ports, more ports and ports with more amps.
Power outlet with USB from Anker. - WHEN?
We consider this before! Perhaps next year?
The C plug is at the device side of the cable.
The charger side is an A plug and can be about anything.
All backward compatible,
Wrong. The charger side can be USB-C as well and is future-proof as well as compatible with today’s Android phones.
We want USB-C on both ends that supports Power Delivery.
So, then what exactly is wrong? And A plug is simply more compatible as most cable have that plug.
A different plug on the charger side adds absolutely nothing.
I would like that because it looks much better than the plugs in my living room.
I think it should contain one of each (USB / USB-C), that way they are catering for all…
Or maybe offer multiple models, some just USB A, some with USB C, both, etc. Just please no USB B (Micro-usb style-it’s a nightmare for output).
I’ve only seen chargers with USB-A.
Obviously with all sorts of connectors on the other side of the cable you plug in.
Keep in mind we are only talking power here; not data.
When designing this wall plug Please consider:
“type-A with PIQ 2.0” and “type-C with PD” on the other side.
As well as a
“QC3.0 type-A” on one side and a “PD type-C” on the other side as different options.
Making them smart plugs also compatible with the Eufy home app would be nice.
Personally I would not mind a 40 or $45 price tag on such a device.
Wouldn’t these be the same?
Please do a dual USB-C PD version!
Lol touche. Your right per usual @joshuad11:joy:
Same output specs but with variety on connection types…why go full USB-C when you could appeal to more market by having both USB types…
With an outlet like this we can start Ankerize our homes
I would love to replace my outlets with with ones that have two USB-C ports in addition to the two AC outlets, and I hope Anker considers making this product. There only appears to be one company making this product currently, but unfortunately it doesn’t support Power Delivery.
