iOS Screen sharing

Hi

I have a Nebula Capsule, I can’t get my iPhone to connect to it.
It’s on the right wifi network and the mircast on Netflix pops up, but it won’t connect. Same with Beamer on my Mac.
I have control via the iOS app, so I know it’s on the right network.
It doesn’t come up under ‘screen mirroring’ at all

I am not sure you can ‘screen mirror’ iPhone to Nebula, I think iPhone only accepts apple devices such as apple TV or another iPad or so.

@Annelise.vickery Is this the Capsule I or II?

I’ve used screen mirroring on the first gen Capsule without any issues but you could try the following;

  • restart your iPhone (depending on model, home button and power button will force a hard reset) and try screen casting again
  • make sure that both the Capsule and iPhone are connected to the same network setup in regards to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz

If neither of this resolve you would be best dropping support@seenebula.com or support@anker.com a email for further assistance and troubleshooting options.

Capsule 2,
I can’t get the casting within netflix to work, it thinks about connecting for a while and then goes ‘failed to connect’
Phone and capsule are def on the same network, the iOS app works sweet.
I really just want to cast Netflix to it, without having to plug my laptop in.
I also have an app on my mac called beamer, I’ve had this working with other chomecasts before.
But it won’t connect to the nebula either.
