Anker Powercore 20100 USB-C comaptibility

Afternoon,

My 2015 Anker Powercore 20100 works perfectly charging all my usb items except for 2 x USB-C devices, namely LG G7 and Nintendo Switch, it initially charges then shuts off the charge after about a minute? It does not do this with any of my other phones (Sony, Motorola) or tablets (amazon Fire, Nvidia Shield, Samsung)

I have reset it numerous times plugging the USB out into the micro usb in.

I have tried a multitude of USB C cables and used USB-C adapters attached to working micro usb cables that charge other devices, but to no avail.

Any advice you can give would be appreciated,

many thanks John

Are you using the USB-C port to charge these devices? If so, be sure to press the power wheel before you plug in your device.

If that still doesn’t work, it could be because the Switch and G7 require Power Delivery.

Here’s my recommendation:

Mine does not have any USB - C ports, only 2 x USB 2

Ah, then yes, that is the issue.

Not sure why the G7 isn’t charging, but I know the Switch will either not charge or charge very slowly via USB-A. You’d want Power Delivery.

Thanks very much for your reply, I’m not sure about the LG G7
either!

Got myself a PD Portable charging block, works everything fine,
