Just another case of being screwed by the big wigs
My videos allowed me to buy some new tech and make more videos. I was only making $50/month but it was better than nothing. Now us little guys won’t have much impact anymore.
I have the first criteria of 4000 hours but since my channel only has 133 subs I will no longer make any money.
First I got screwed by Amazon and now You Tube 
Aww that sucks. Knowing all the problems that they are having and how frustrated people like you and even much larger YouTube creators are getting, I wouldn’t be surprised if a new competitor pops up soon. Hopefully that will give people like yourself another option for posting videos (and creating income) or it will make YouTube realize they need to get their act together and care more for the unique community they have created.

That sucks and sorry you have to deal with this. A friend of mine is also going through this but he reached out on Twitter and managed to get enough hours and subs…maybe try that and call them out on Twitter? See if you can get the subs required
Thanks for the idea but as 50+ year old my twitter has less followers than my Youtube, lol

This really sucks. And yet, people doing idiotic things on youtube are getting paid the big moolah. What is this world coming to?

That is sad. Maybe Youtube has a tool where you can buy subs and so they want to get more money.
