Just wondering what people use as their main phone carriers and how there coverage and data speeds are
What is your phone provider?
I use T-Mobile trial plan ($20 for 10gb of data per month) and coverage never goes under 4 bars. I live in metro dallas area.
Nice sounds like a great deal

I just buy one every month.
In Canada - I’m using Virgin mobile. Same network as Bell, at $50/month for 2GB, 500 minutes and unlimited texting between Canadian and US numbers. Speeds are pretty decent, usually indicated at LTE+. It’s a decent deal for the area, or plans are horribly expensive here. I like the Bell network the best, it covers all the areas I’m in better than the others, in my opinion, and I rarely lose signal when driving between cities.
If you like AT&T’s coverage, check out Cricket Wireless. It’s virtually the same service (minus some of AT&T’s roaming agreements). However, you would need to buy your phone outright when you want to upgrade. With the current promotion, $45 (w/ AutoPay) gets you 8GB of data and unlimited talk and text.
I have Verizon and have never had an issue. I used to have Sprint as well as my company phone is AT&T. Between the two, my Verizon coverage seems to trump (heh) the AT&T in many of the areas I travel to. It is more expensive (12 GB shared between 2 devices for $120) but in the end, I would rather have coverage with less data. Also, if I were to go over AT&T theoretical limit, I am throttled down to 240p
I used cricket before but can’t stand the 8mbps on LTE, so gophone works better, and the roaming agreements at least in the US are pretty important to me
I was thinking about them but where I see other people with Verizon coverage that go the second places as me they drop down to 3G a lot more often than I do
The minutes part would drive me crazy lol
(the forum needs an options poll feature this is dumb)
In USA: I have dual-sim OnePlus2 and it has a work supplied ATT sim and a personal from family plan T-Mobile sim. I tend to use the ATT for coverage but sometimes switch to T-mobile for data.
When I visit UK I remove the ATT sim and put in a Giffgaff SIM with a minimalist monthly plan credit for local to UK texting and calls and use the T-mobile data as it is unlimited roaming data (but expensive to send texts and calls).
I’m in Canada and I use Wind.
I use AT&T and I am satisfied with it. The speeds are average and as I have unlimited data, I’m not restricted. Their coverage is okay. I can’t really complain about anything because it really hasn’t caused me any problems.
