What is the difference between the ANKER EVO stand and the PowerWave 7.5 Stand?
The exterior seams to the same but the pricing is drastically different.

I’ll do my best here, but the specs are the same as far as I can tell. The PowerWave is a newer product.

Depending on where you get it I think the Evo comes with a brick charger as well and the PowerWave does not.

Compatibility:

10W Fast Charge Mode: Using QC 2.0/3.0 Adapter

  • Samsung Galaxy S9+ / S9 / S8 / S8+ / S7 edge / S7 / S6 edge+ / Samsung Note 9 / Note 8

7.5W Fast Charge Mode: Using QC 2.0/3.0 Adapter

  • iPhone XS Max / iPhone XR / iPhone XS / iPhone X / iPhone 8 / 8 Plus

5W Standard Charge Mode: Using 5V/2A Adapter

  • LG G7 / V30+ / V30 / V35

  • Pixel 3 / Pixel 3XL (The phone’s screen will display the message: Charging slowly.)

The original power wave does not come with a charger and only will charge apple products at 5w

The EVO and The 7.5 I’m inquiring about
Both come with the same power brick
Usb cable
and both support apple at 7.5

The main difference is the inclusion of a small fan inside the powerwave that helps keep things nice and cool. So if heat is of concern go with the powerwave, otherwise the evo will work fine.

Yes my understanding was that in a fast charging scenario where the non-fan pad had to throttle the speed due to heat the one with a fan could keep going at full speed. Not sure how often that happens though.
