What is Static resistance in MultiProtect?

Hi all!
I apologize if it is a noob question.
Just wonder what static resistance means.
What does that technology protect or prevent?
I really don’t get it.

We may need @AnkerTechnical to chime in, but I believe it is protection from static electricity. For example, if you walk across carpet in the winter and then touch a metal part of the power bank, it will be protected from the static electric shock.

The lightning bolt in the electronics industry usually refers to ESD (electro static discharge). This typically refers to static shock protection (rubbing your hand on a carpet and touching inputs would cause havoc if this protection isnt in place). Would like @AnkerTechnical to make final judgement, but this is what I would take it as.
