This would fit better for a “man from the british isles”
More traditional! :joy:

But if there is a “fall” you need a can opener!

Hello lovely people, any plans for the weekend?
Today we had a short walk and have been bored since we got home.
When we are bored it normally means crazy things will happen

Charlie was eating too many bananas!

Not bananas Franz, today it was choc chip cup cakes.
Plain cake, choc chips, Nutella inside and buttercream on top.

Love the look of the cup cakes… How did you put the nutella inside? Was it baked with nutella inside or put after the fact?

Now the UK lockdown is relaxed, I’m on with my next project, buying next house. Scheduling viewings before next lockdown after the 2nd wave.

I have a really simple method, find scared people and go to whatever they flee from, as humanity creates 10 problems for every 1 it solves.

Hi @Shenoy
Put in once they had cooled.
Carefully cut a cone shaped piece out of the top, lob in a dollop of whatever takes your fancy. Drop the cone back on and add topping :+1:t2:

A friend of mine just bought a house today.
Put in a crazy, and I mean crazy, offer and the seller accepted within the hour.
It’s a buyers market right now. Good luck with house hunting.

Yep, no such things as problems, only opportunities you don’t yet recognise.

I’d not buy where you are, that global warming is already baked in, but by the time you retire it will be valuable beach front property.

Depends of course on where you try to buy.
You know the Munich area.
Not possible for a reasonable price to get even a loo here.

But If you go to the countryside (eg. Eastern Germany) no problem.
Somewhere lost in the desert.
No shop, no bar, no doctor, no nothing.
And if you’re lucky there is a local bus to the next town two times a day.
There are many small villages only a view old ones are living here.
Those are villages dying.

Buy why buying a house, why not one for rent?
And -> The ultimate solution a huge camper (mobile home!
You are independent.

Here in Germany they offer so called tiny houses.
Weird, for that money I can get a mobile home with tzhe same space and comfort.
But such “tiny houes” are “en vogue”

New pensioner’s project. : Painting the fence.
Because I did a perfect preparation it’s easy.
And I am really surprised what a lot of paint I store in the basement.
Quite a collection.
And I know why: Whenever I find a varnish at the flea I buy it, when I suppose I could need.
(new can of course)
It’s a kind of manic hoarding, but its not expensive and I really discovered a huge can of varnish I can use for the fence. Hurra -> No DIY-market needed.

roadkilled chicken

You BBQ-ers will know that expression I read today
(English is very “smart and modern” here in Germany (Denglisch),
even many will not understand and often wrong…hehehe)

I know these preparation from the Portugueses.
Not so known here, but its a perfect, easy way.

The Portuguese use a kind of “cage” with a handle , but I havent found it when searching…

I will go on painting!
